Programa de Conducción de Vehículos de Transporte Masivo
Since 2005, our University of Antioquia Foundation has administered the Mass Transit Vehicle Driving Program, supporting the operation of rail vehicles in the city of Medellín.
This initiative has become a growth opportunity for hundreds of young university students from the Aburrá Valley, who find here a possibility to support their studies, acquire work experience and build their life projects.
Since its creation, approximately 1,563 students from public and private universities have been part of the program, mostly from socioeconomic levels 1, 2 and 3.
Transformative Statistics
- 51% women and 48.5% men
- 100% of participants are residents of the Metropolitan Area
- 3,002 academic requests addressed
- 357 collaborators in operational staff.
Well-being and Human Development
The program promotes the holistic well-being of its students through strategies aimed at enhancing quality of life, human development, and personal and professional growth.
Social Impact
Every student in the Driving Program represents a story of hard work, learning, and personal growth.
At the University of Antioquia Foundation we continue to support initiatives that not only contribute to the city’s development but also help create real opportunities for future generations.
