Integrated Strategy and Sustainability System

In the University of Antioquia Foundation we took a decisive step to strengthen our Strategic Management and project ourselves more clearly into the future. This process allowed us to consolidate a more intentional, better-aligned, and long-term-oriented organization, in which strategy ceased to be a one-off exercise and became an integrated way of governing, deciding, and acting. Thus, every project, process, and decision began to respond in coherence to the institutional purpose and the needs of our environment.

As part of this achievement, we created the Office of Strategy and Sustainability, tasked with connecting the institutional vision with daily operations and integrating processes, indicators, and initiatives under a unified direction. With the approval of the Integrated Strategy and Sustainability System, our Foundation charted a new course to plan, execute, and evaluate its management in a coordinated manner, reviewing our mission, vision and values, and collaboratively developing our higher purpose and new strategic goals.

This path also strengthened our internal leadership and commitment to sustainable development. Through the Leadership School, our executives and leaders consolidated a collaborative vision based on data and results, while our Foundation advanced in integrating the Sustainable Development Goals into our institutional management. This way, we reaffirm our role as a reliable and strategic partner in coordinating resources, knowledge, and capabilities to generate sustainable social impact and contribute to the development of territories and communities.
