The University of Antioquia Foundation and the Innovation Division attached to the Vice-Rectorate for Outreach of the University of Antioquia join forces with the goal of contributing to the socioeconomic development of regional communities through solutions based on knowledge, scientific research, technological development, and entrepreneurship—not only by providing resources but also by facilitating collaboration between the University and key players such as businesses, government agencies, and communities.
Laboratory for Innovation
Promotes the social embracement of science, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in university and regional communities. Develops pathways, content, and tools that strengthen institutional and local capacities for innovation.
University-Business-Government Committee (CUEE)
A space for inter-institutional coordination that brings together academic, business, government and social actors to energize collaborative STI+E agendas through technical working groups, networking, and regional governance.
Parque E (Entrepreneurship Park) – Business Incubation
A University incubator that supports high-impact startups by offering advice, consulting, and technical assistance for the structuring, validation, and implementation of innovative ventures.
Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI)
The unit responsible for managing the University’s technology transfer and intellectual property, supporting technology maturation, the protection of developments, and networking with the productive sector.
Management Skills Development and Well-being
The Vice-Rectorate for Outreach at the University of Antioquia generates knowledge and innovation to serve society, regional communities, and sustainability, reflecting its results and impact through six components.

This last component accounts for the strengthening and capacity building of the Innovation Division, which is organized around three strategies:
- Management Skills Development and Well-being.
- Strategic Direction on a Three-year Period.
- Information and Knowledge Management for Innovation.
